It’s not just blogging software, it’s so much more.  With the latest version, 3.3, WordPress has really come of age,  and can truly lay claim to its’ title as a full site “Content Management System”.

As an “open source” product WordPress has thousands of supporters and contributors all around the globe.  Functionality is added to the basic install through the use of free, ‘Themes, Plugins & Widgets”. It is amazing what can be achieved.

With recent addition features, WordPress allows for easy management of  static and dynamic web pages, making it more suitable for traditional business web sites, rather than just a ‘blogging’ platform.  It truly is a joy to use!
